Power of the people - collaboration is a key trend in cyber security says industry

Combined efforts from all areas of business is becoming more and more important in the fight against cyber-attacks.

This is one of the key observations highlighted by industry experts asked to identify current trends within cyber security in the run up to Cyber Security Connect UK, (CSCUK), the leading conference and industry forum for CISOs.
When discussing core issues within the industry, professionals were keen to note that not only were businesses working harder to involve employees or the everyday users of technology in the tackling of cyber threats but also taking a more collaborative approach when it came to suppliers and partners.
Other key trends highlighted by the discussions were the increasing level of threat from cyber-attacks to business of all sizes rather than it being a problem mainly faced by larger organisations, as well as the pressure on CISOs to not only maintain and manage an ever increasing amount of data being accessed via a growing range of devices but also the need for them to navigate constantly evolving regulation and legislation around this management.
More than 300 industry professionals will gather to discuss trends in cyber security, ongoing challenges and strategies for tackling these issues during CSCUK which takes place from 13-15 November in Monaco.
